Now there are many Ancient Greek Myths like Pandoras Box, Medusa, the Trojan War, Hercules, Helen of Troy, and The Odyssey and so on. In this article were just going to talk about a few of them.
Ancient Greek Myths: King of all Greek Gods
Let’s start with Pandoras Box. Now Zeus the king of all Greek gods, was angry, at Prometheus because he had given people fire and he was also angry at some people since they tricked him into taking the wrong bag of meat. Hence, to get back at all the people, Zeus constructed a woman who was beautiful, whom he called Pandora. Pandora was sent to earth.
Greek Mythology Stories
She was given to the brother of Prometheus, Epimetheus and he asked him to marry her. When he sent her, she had a box with a huge lock on it and asked Epimetheus never to open, but he gave the key to him.
But Pandora managed to sneak out the key while Epimetheus was sleeping and out of curiosity she opened the box. Now from the box came out all sorts of trouble like sickness, crimes, worry, envy and so on.
As Pandora tried to get the things back, she could not and everything flew away. The final thing which flew out was hope which was sent by Zeus so that, the people would keep things going even when they were down. The next ancient Greek myth is that of Helena, the daughter of Zeus and the queen of Sparta.
Now every man wanted to marry her but her stepfather, the king of Sparta was scared if he allowed her to marry one, the rest would fight him. So he managed to hold a match (athletic) and everyone had sworn to protect Helena and the marriage no matter who won. Menelaus was the one who won in the end. So ancient Greek myths go on and on and also have different associations.
